Partner (Level 2)


Criteria

  A Christian Children's home in Sri Lanka
  At least one management level staff member attends 2-3 consecutive seminars
  A desire to learn about KidzNet and actively open in sharing both fellowship and encouragement with the management and staff of other Christian Children's Homes around Sri Lanka.
  Pre-appointed Visitation and completed needs assessment by the KidzNet management.
  The home must be either registered or all documentation for registration has been submitted to the Department of Childcare and probation.
If the home has been registered with the department of Childcare and probation, all requirements must be maintained to government standard.
  Apparent, verifiable evidence of assimilated training must take place within the management of the home and/or the care of children.
  Consistent, weekly Biblical teaching available to every child under your care.
  A completed application to the KidzNet office.

Duration

  After six months of Associate level affiliation with the network, any home that successfully fulfills the requirements of the criteria listed above and receives clearance after the home is visited and all documentation verified through the KidzNet management team may apply for Partner status with KidzNet.
  After one year of Partner status, the home may apply for Accreditation Level 3-KidzNet Certified home status.

  Continual visitation and needs assessment for future support opportunities and assistance with government registrations and maintenance of government statistical and logistical requirements.
  Eligibility to apply for KidzNet in-house training programs for the management and staff of your children's home or residential care centre.
  Eligibility to apply for relief grants when funding permits.
  Eligibility to apply for Micro-grants.

Obtaining KidzNet Partner Status procedure
  Fulfillment of all Partner status criteria listed above.
  KidzNet Partner application submitted.
  KidzNet Partner Member approved and issuance of a yearly renewable certificate of Partner status. After one year of KidzNet Partner status any home which fulfills the requirements of KidzNet may apply for KidzNet accreditation Level 3-KidzNet certified home.
