Aims and Objectives
To initiate an active network of faith based
residential care workers that will facilitate
fellowship, trouble-shooting and a forum that
will create a common platform to share ideas and
information.
To host children's homes training seminars for
the management and their staff of those working
in residential care.
To initiate a website for rapid, cost efficient,
communication and networking as well as to
easily reference all training information and
governmental requirements.
To train children's home staff and management in
residential care "Good practices" and Child
Protection Policy.
To monthly support provide relief and Micro
educational and vocational support to those
children's homes who consider themselves as
"partners" of the network.
To uphold and train all children's home staff
and management in the ever changing Childcare
and Probation standards.
To establish and coordinate a child
sponsorship/children's home budget support
program that would enable every child within the
network to receive proper nutrition, education
and vocational support.
To yearly conduct Day camps and training
sessions for the children living in the network
homes.
To offer in-house counseling support for
children and psychosocial training for the staff
that daily care for the children residing in
their homes.
To coordinate work teams that will work on
building in and enhancing facility standards of
the home.
To increase the standards of water and
sanitation in every home in the network
To source funding and oversee special grants to
meet the needs of the children's homes.
